As a child Diane was a member of the British Gymnastic Squad and Champion until the age of 14 when she retired and began her career in Performing Arts. She also had a strong involvement in music, becoming proficient in both violin and flute thereby amalgamating her love of music with her need and love of movement she went on to train professionally at The London Contemporary Dance School and The London Studio Centre.
She has since been a member of the National Youth Theatre, The National Youth Dance Company and worked for many TV & Theatre Companies, including BBC (plus radio Broadcast), ITV, Sky, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros. She became most known for her role in the successful 90’s television show ‘The Gladiators’ as the darling ‘Jet’, becoming very popular with the audiences. Following a serious accident she left the show but continued with more roles in Theatre and presenting / broadcast.
Shortly after this period, Diane then ventured into the challenging role of a school teacher, still retaining the disciplines of Physical Education, Dance and A Level General Studies. This process then transpired into Diane, going back to a long and sustained period of studying herself as she worked towards qualifying for the title of Counsellor / Psychotherapist (BACP) and as well as a NLP Master Practitioner Coach, the latter deals with Neuro technologies to improve conscious performance in our behaviours, new territory in the world of growth and behavioural change for enhanced performance and well – being.
To this day, Diane is now using this huge amount of knowledge and training and life experience to help and develop other people, both in a one to one, private format and in a group format with her seminars and workshops, presented to a number of different organisations across a number of different industries. Although, Diane appears fully immersed with the world of fitness, health and exercise, she also carries the skills across into a corporate environment.
