Signs that a man may have a poor hormonal profile

A poor hormone profile within a man would be exemplified by high Cortisol and high insulin levels coupled with a low testosterone reading and poor ability to remove Oestrogen from the body. Physiologically the body would give away tell tale signs such as the following;

  • Fat accumulation or lack of tone around the thighs and hamstrings
  • Accumulation of fat around the stomach and hips in comparison to rest of body
  • Low Zinc levels within the body – normally identified by poor immune system and / or ridges on the finger nails.
  • Poor stomach acid levels and therefore digestive related disorders such as poor synthesis of protein and minerals and increased incidence of food intolerance symptoms such as bloating, stomach cramps, general discomfort around the stomach.
  • Fat accumulation around the chest (aka man boobs).
  • Slow or poor ability in muscle size or strength gains.
